Hi, i'm Mahayla and i'm passionate about food and teaching.

As an outstanding food technology teacher of 12 years I am experienced at delivering high quality and engaging learning that improves knowledge and outcomes for children. With a first class degree in food marketing management and experience working in industry, it is when working with children that I am truly happy.

I love how learning about food not only enhances understanding but can have an incredible impact on health. Additionally, it can improve confidence and support in improving mental health or self esteem. Win win!

Inform children about good food choices by teaching them about the different food groups and how these food groups are used in our bodies.

Inspire children to try new foods and replace less healthy options with good nutritious alternatives. 

Instruct children in the preparation of a range of snacks and meals which they can make themselves.

We believe that food is at the root of happy, successful children and are excited about cooking up an exciting educational offering for you.
